Service Notice
RoadAsset is an actively developing platform. While we strive for high availability and data integrity, we recommend maintaining regular exports of your important data. Enterprise and Government plans include enhanced data protection guarantees and SLA commitments.
Agreement to Terms
By accessing or using RoadAsset ("Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service and all applicable laws and regulations. If you do not agree with any of these terms, you are prohibited from using or accessing this Service.
We reserve the right to modify these terms at any time. Your continued use of the Service following any changes constitutes acceptance of those changes.
Service Description
RoadAsset provides:
- Video-based road asset tagging and annotation tools
- 360° panorama viewing and streetview navigation
- GPS synchronization and location mapping
- AI-powered asset detection and classification
- Signboard recognition with regional databases
- Pavement Condition Assessment (PCA) data import
- Data export in industry-standard formats (YOLO, VOC, CSV)
- Dashboard and analytics for asset management
- Collaborative project management features
- Organization management and role-based access control
User Accounts
Account Registration
- You must provide accurate and complete registration information
- You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account
- One account per person; account sharing is not permitted
- You must be at least 18 years old to use this Service
Account Responsibilities
- You are responsible for all activities under your account
- Notify us immediately of any unauthorized access
- We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms
Acceptable Use
You agree to use the Service only for lawful purposes. You may not:
- Upload content that violates any laws or third-party rights
- Attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems
- Interfere with or disrupt the Service or servers
- Use automated systems to access the Service without permission
- Upload malicious code, viruses, or harmful content
- Impersonate any person or entity
- Use the Service for surveillance or privacy violations
User Content & Data
Your Content
You retain ownership of all content you upload, including videos, images, and annotations. By uploading content, you grant us a limited license to process, store, and display your content as necessary to provide the Service.
AI Training
We may use anonymized and aggregated data from your annotations to improve our AI models. No personally identifiable information or original video content will be used for this purpose without explicit consent.
Data Export
You may export your project data at any time using our export features. We recommend regular exports during the beta period.

Storage & Usage Quotas
Each subscription plan includes storage and usage limits:
- Video storage limits per project and organization
- Maximum video file size and duration restrictions
- AI processing credits (detection and classification requests)
- Export frequency and volume limits
- API rate limits for integrations
Exceeding quotas may result in service restrictions until the next billing period or plan upgrade. We will notify you when approaching quota limits.
Current quota usage is visible in your dashboard.
Payment Terms
Billing
- Subscriptions are billed monthly or annually in advance
- Payment is due upon subscription activation
- We accept major credit cards and bank transfers (Enterprise/Government)
- All prices are in USD unless otherwise specified
Refunds
- Monthly subscriptions: No refunds for partial months
- Annual subscriptions: Pro-rata refund within first 30 days
- Enterprise/Government: As specified in your service agreement
Plan Changes
Upgrades take effect immediately with prorated billing. Downgrades take effect at the end of your current billing period. You retain access to features until the downgrade takes effect.
Prohibited Content
The following content is strictly prohibited:
- Content that infringes intellectual property rights
- Personal data of individuals without their consent
- Content depicting illegal activities
- Sensitive locations or facilities without authorization
- Any content that could enable harm to individuals or property
We reserve the right to remove any content that violates these terms without notice.
Limitation of Liability
THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND. WE DO NOT GUARANTEE:
- Uninterrupted or error-free service
- Accuracy of AI classifications or detections
- Data preservation or backup
- Compatibility with all devices or systems
To the maximum extent permitted by law, we shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including loss of data, profits, or business opportunities.
Termination
We may terminate or suspend your account at any time for:
- Violation of these Terms of Service
- Suspected fraudulent, abusive, or illegal activity
- Extended periods of inactivity (12+ months)
- Service discontinuation with reasonable notice
Upon termination, you will have 30 days to export your data before it is permanently deleted.
Legal Hold & Data Preservation
Government and Enterprise customers may require data preservation for legal, regulatory, or audit purposes:
- Legal hold requests must be submitted through official channels
- Data under legal hold is exempt from automatic deletion policies
- Hold periods and scope must be clearly defined in writing
- Additional storage fees may apply for extended preservation
We comply with lawful data preservation requests from authorized government entities and legal proceedings. See our Privacy Policy for details on government access requests.
Indemnification
You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless RoadAsset and its affiliates, officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, losses, liabilities, and expenses (including legal fees) arising from:
- Your use of the Service
- Your violation of these Terms
- Your violation of any third-party rights
- Content you upload or share through the Service
Governing Law
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Malaysia, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any disputes arising from these terms shall be resolved through arbitration in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.
Force Majeure
We shall not be liable for any failure or delay in performance resulting from circumstances beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to: natural disasters, acts of war or terrorism, pandemics, government actions, power outages, internet service provider failures, or cyberattacks. During such events, our obligations will be suspended until normal operations can resume.
Severability
If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable or invalid by a court of competent jurisdiction, that provision shall be limited or eliminated to the minimum extent necessary so that these Terms shall otherwise remain in full force and effect. The invalidity of any provision shall not affect the validity of any other provision.
